A well made Gin & Tonic is irresistibly bubbly, citrusy and aromatic with a beautiful harmony of bright bittersweet notes. It is a lot to achieve with just two ingredients. With the right ingredients and our award winning gin, we consider it one of the best!

Here are our favorite recipes to easily make the most delicious and refreshing Gin & Tonics at home.

CLASSIC BARR HILL & TONIC

Classic Gin & Tonic

2oz Barr Hill Gin
6oz Tonic of choice
(we like Indian, Mediterranean and Elderflower but half the fun is experimenting with a variety to find your favorite!)

Lemon wedge

Easy to make and irresistibly delicious. While lime is most people’s garnish of choice for a Gin & Tonic in the US, we find lemon’s bright acidity accents Barr Hill Gin’s rich botanicals perfectly.

GRAPEFRUIT & ROSEMARY GIN & TONIC

Gin & Tonic

2oz Barr Hill Gin
6oz Tonic of choice
Grapefruit wedge
2 sprigs of rosemary

One of our favorites that works all year long. Grapefruit and rosemary add savory herbacesousness to your G&T that can't be missed.

CUCUMBER & MINT GIN & TONIC

Cucumber & Mint Gin & Tonic

2oz Barr Hill Gin
6oz Tonic of choice
2-3 slices of cucumber
2 sprigs of mint

Fresh cucumber and mint make for a delicious cooling combo on a hot summer day.

PEACH & SAGE GIN & TONIC

Summer Gin & Tonic with fresh

2oz Barr Hill Gin
6oz Tonic of choice
2-3 fresh peach wedges
1 bunch of sage

A summertime favorite. When peaches are fresh and in season, they add a delicious juicy punch well balanced with peppery sage.

CRANBERRY & THYME GIN & TONIC

Holiday Gin & Tonic

2oz Barr Hill Gin
6oz Tonic of choice
6-8 cranberries
1 sprig of fresh thyme

G&T season meets the holiday season. This festive, wintry G&T variation pairs perfectly with a holiday feast and won't fill you up before your big meal.

TONIC SYRUP GIN & TONIC

Gin & Tonic

2oz Barr Hill Gin
1oz Barr Hill Tonic syrup
5oz club soda
Lemon or lime wedge

Have an authentic G&T experience. Tonic was once made from cinchona bark, the primary flavor in traditional tonic. The quinine found in cinchona bark was used to treat malaria. Today, most tonics on store shelves opt for a quinine extract. Here at Barr Hill, we prefer to use a tonic syrup made from real cinchona bark. It has a rich, earthy flavor and beautiful amber color.
