Hospitality Support/Dishwasher

Location: Montpelier, VT

The part time Hospitality Support/Dishwasher position is an entry level position that supports the Hospitality functions by supporting the bar, and kitchen spaces. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic team player helping with key daily operations and providing general and various support to the Hospitality team. The Hospitality Support position is perfectly suited for an individual that has minimal restaurant experience and is looking to learn more and gain experience working in a high-end bar setting.

Off-site Event Support

Location: Montpelier, VT & VT-state travel

Part Time Event Support team members are a critical part of bringing the Barr Hill brand to life out in the field. You will work an array of events and tastings across the state – connecting with customers who already know and love Barr Hill and with new customers that will learn about our brand for the first time. Bottle sales, great conversations, and generating excitement about visiting the distillery are key to a successful event program. The Event Staff role is an as-needed position. Events often fall on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Director of Finance

Location: Montpelier, Vermont

Caledonia Spirits is looking for an experienced Director of Finance (Finance Director) to oversee all financial aspects of business and drive the company’s financial strategy and planning. You will be responsible for assessing the financial performance of the company as well as possible risks and investments. A Director of Finance is a reliable professional with broad knowledge of all accounting, financial and business principles. They are strategic thinkers and effective leaders who can make the most profitable decisions. The goal is to guide the company towards profitability and long-term success.

 

Key Functions and Responsibilities

  • Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks
  • Monitor status of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems
  • Set up and oversee the company’s financial and transaction systems
  • Set targets for and supervise accounting and finance function
  • Oversee all external reviews and internal controls
  • Execute cash management and corporate fundraising strategy
  • Manage relationships with partners and investors
  • Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Conduct analysis, maintain forecasts and report results to leadership team
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, laws and guidelines

 

Education & Experience

  • MBA or CPA preferred
  • Spirits industry experience a plus
  • BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field required
  • Minimum of five to seven years of related work experience
