Position Summary and Responsibilities
The General Manager, Retail Operations is accountable for the ongoing success and development of the Direct-to-Consumer business and associated guest experiences.
As a member of the Vermont-based team, the General Manager, Retail Operations will be based in our Montpelier, VT distillery office.
The position requires the ability to lead, hire, train, and schedule staff teams for bar, retail, and Vermont events (e.g. Farmers Markets). The successful candidate will achieve financial targets for direct-to-consumer business with an accountability mindset. The ability to oversee management of on-site events with accordance with brand strategy will be essential.
A bachelor’s degree and substantial, relevant work in hospitality administration and experience supervising hospitality staff is preferred but not required. The ability to work evenings and weekends is required.
